I grew up in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and moved to Arlington in 2020. The third-grade curriculum will combine basic skills, authentic learning, and critical thinking. Students will be occupied in a variety of individual and collaborative work designed to accommodate their diverse and individual learning styles. In 3rd grade, we encourage the development of responsibility, independence, and autonomy. We believe that each child should be given the opportunity to develop his or her best potential mentally, physically, and socially so he or she can become a productive, creative, and responsible member of society. Each child is an individual and should be provided the opportunity to an environment to learn at his or her own pace. We believe that all children can learn and be successful.
